DGFT Imposes Import Curbs On Umbrellas With CIF Value Below ₹100
On 5 February 2026, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, issued a notification amending the import policy for umbrellas from “Free” to “Restricted”.
