Anant Mishra Joins Aretha Legal As A Partner In It's Corporate Practice

Aretha Legal has recently onboarded Anant Mishra as a partner. Anant will be part of the Corporate, M&A, Private Equity, and Venture Capital practice and will be based out of the firm's New Delhi office. Anant holds a BA. LLB (Hons.) from Dr. RML National Law University, Lucknow, and has been enrolled with the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh since 2012.
Anant comes with close to 15 years of experience. He has spent his career almost entirely at Tier 1 firms - Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., J. Sagar Associates, and CMS IndusLaw, where he built a strong practice in M&A, private equity, venture capital, and cross-border transactions. Over the years, he has handled everything from large inbound and outbound investments to group restructurings, joint ventures, regulatory matters, and commercial contracts. He has advised clients at every stage, from early-stage startups raising their first institutional round to listed companies navigating intricate multi-jurisdiction deals.

Anant's sector experience is equally broad. As part of his sector agnostic M&A, PE and VC practice, he has significant experience advising on cross-border investments, regulatorily heavy restructurings and M&A in the digital economy/ platform based businesses, technology and internet businesses, fintech and financial infrastructure platforms, consumer marketplaces, mobility and logistics platforms, crypto/Web3 businesses, and renewable energy platforms.
