The Competition Commission of India (CCI) on Tuesday approved a combination involving Singapore-based Bentley Asia Holdings II Pte Ltd. acquiring additional shareholding in Kerala-based Baby Memorial Hospital Limited, followed by BMH acquiring a stake in Unimed Health Care Private Limited.
The proposed combination comprises two steps: Bentley will acquire additional shareholding in BMH, following which BMH will acquire certain shareholding in Unimed by way of a secondary purchase.
Bentley is a private company incorporated in Singapore, while BMH operates a multi-specialty healthcare network across several cities in India.
