IndiaLaw LLP has announced the appointment of Satish Anand Sharma as a Senior Partner in its Mumbai office, further strengthening the Firm's Corporate & M&A, Financial Regulatory, Capital Markets and Insolvency & Bankruptcy practices.

Satish brings over 25 years of experience advising corporates, banks, financial institutions, investment funds and NBFCs on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. His practice spans cross-border transaction, capital markets, financial regulatory advisory, structured finance, securitisation, FEMA, RBI and SEBI regulations, corporate restructuring, and insolvency & bankruptcy.

Over the course of his career, Satish has advised leading investment funds, corporates public and private sector banks, foreign financial institutions, on high-value transactions across the infrastructure, renewable energy, manufacturing, ports, pharmaceuticals, fintech and real estate sectors. He has significant experience in cross-border investments, foreign exchange regulations, establishment and regulation of financial sector entities including Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), NBFCs and Housing Finance Companies, as well as regulatory approvals. He has also advised extensively on corporate restructuring and insolvency resolution matters.
