CCI Approves Proposed Merger Of Go Digit Holding Company With Go Digit General Insurance

The Competition Commission of India on Tuesday approved the proposed amalgamation of Go Digit Infoworks Services Private Limited, the holding company of Go Digit General Insurance Limited, with Go Digit General Insurance Limited, under which the latter will be the surviving entity.

Go Digit General is a public limited company. 

The Commission noted that Go Digit Infoworks is not engaged in any market-facing business activities in India or abroad.Go Digit General, on the other hand, is engaged in providing general and health insurance products and services in India, with a specialised focus on general insurance.

The Commission stated that a detailed order will be issued.
